In geometry the terms of circle and circumference are two terms that are confused a lot when using them, some think they are synonymous but not so, are very different things. Here are the exact definitions of each:
-Circle: The circle is the area or flat surface contained within a circumference.
-Circumference: The circumference is a flat, closed curve, whose points are equidistant from another, the center, located in the same plane.
